Built by Practitioners,
Not Theorists

leapHL was founded by two senior practitioners who grew tired of consulting firms that sold transformation without living it. We built a different kind of firm — one grounded in real enterprise experience, honest counsel, and an obsessive focus on measurable outcomes.

Why We Built leapHL

Harj Panag and Lauren Moore first crossed paths on an enterprise AI engagement at a Fortune 500 financial services firm. Harj was leading the AI and data architecture workstream; Lauren was heading up the security and risk posture assessment. What they discovered — independently and then together — was that fragmented consulting relationships were causing organizations to make costly, siloed decisions: AI deployed without security review, digital transformation without data foundations, security hardening without operational continuity planning.

They founded leapHL on a simple premise: the most valuable consulting relationship is one where a single, senior-led team holds the entire picture. Not a collection of specialists talking past each other, but an integrated practice that understands how AI, security, data, and digital product decisions interact — and advises accordingly.

Today, leapHL serves more than 200 enterprise clients across North America, spanning government, financial services, healthcare, aerospace, and retail. Every engagement is still led personally by Harj or Lauren, and every recommendation is made with the same standards they would apply to their own organizations.

Our Core Values

These aren't words on a wall. They're the criteria we use to make decisions about how we work, who we hire, which clients we take on, and what we recommend.

Integrity

We tell clients what they need to hear, not what they want to hear. If a proposed solution isn't right for you, we'll say so clearly — even when it costs us the engagement.

Outcomes

We define success in terms of business impact, not deliverables. Every project begins with a clear articulation of what "done" means in measurable, strategic terms.

Excellence

We hold our work to an exacting standard. Average is not acceptable when the stakes are enterprise security, mission-critical systems, or transformative AI deployment.

Transparency

We communicate openly about progress, challenges, and risks — no jargon screens, no status-report theatre. You always know exactly where your engagement stands.

The Partners Behind the Practice

leapHL's founding partners remain actively involved in every client engagement — bringing decades of combined enterprise experience directly to the table.

Harj Panag, Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Harj Panag

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Harj is a recognized authority on enterprise artificial intelligence, large-scale digital transformation, and data architecture. Over a 15-year career spanning consulting, product leadership, and executive advisory roles, he has guided organizations through some of the most complex AI and digital initiatives in North America.

His work spans generative AI deployment, intelligent process automation, enterprise data strategy, and cloud-native product engineering. Harj brings both the strategic vision and the technical depth to ensure AI initiatives translate into durable business advantage — not just impressive demos.

Prior to founding leapHL, Harj held senior advisory roles at global technology firms and led AI transformation programs for clients in financial services, government, and retail. He is a frequent speaker on enterprise AI strategy and a strong advocate for responsible AI governance.

Lauren Moore, Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Lauren Moore

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Lauren is one of North America's foremost experts on enterprise cybersecurity, digital risk management, and organizational resilience. With over 14 years of experience spanning red team operations, security architecture, compliance, and executive-level advisory, she has built and hardened security programs for organizations from mid-market firms to federal agencies.

Her practice encompasses penetration testing and adversarial simulation, zero-trust architecture design, regulatory compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PIPEDA), incident response, and managed detection and response. Lauren's rare ability to translate deeply technical security findings into board-level strategic decisions makes her an indispensable partner for CISOs and executive teams alike.

Prior to co-founding leapHL, Lauren led offensive security programs at a global consulting firm and served as a strategic advisor to Canadian government cybersecurity initiatives. She is a CISSP and holds certifications in cloud security and advanced penetration testing.

The leapHL Difference

We've seen what the traditional consulting model produces: expensive recommendations that gather dust, technology deployments that miss the mark, and junior teams left to execute work sold by partners. leapHL was built to be the antidote.

Senior-Led Delivery

Harj or Lauren personally leads every strategic engagement. Your most critical decisions are guided by the same expertise that won you over in the sales process.

Our six service practices aren't siloed divisions — they're a cross-disciplinary team that collaborates on every engagement, ensuring your AI project is secure and your security program is AI-augmented.
